Original painting: 36” x 30”
Medium: Acrylic; image transfer; graphite, charcoal, resin on canvas
This painting incorporates a number of elements, including an image transfer in the upper left side of the painting . The image is of a woman from the early 1900s striving as a swain in a boat. I found the image on an old postcard in a Parisian flea market (I know, right?) and loved how she’s in period dress and yet - her power comes through. It serves as reminder for all the power that we have and in becoming.
